County Rescue accepts applications from Paramedics, Advanced EMTs, EMTs, and Emergency Medical Responders (EMR).

Entry level minimum requirements for a position are a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and a current Wisconsin EMS license. Following a review of applications, selected applicants will be scheduled for interviews as determined by the hiring committee.  Hiring at County Rescue may occur throughout the year based upon need, so we encourage you to visit our County Rescue Services Careers web page often.

Entry level full-time at County Rescue requires a current Wisconsin paramedic licensure. Critical care certification is preferred but may be provided, as required. Hiring at County Rescue usually occurs on an annual basis and is based on demand.

How We Work

Line medical staff may work  8, 12, or 24 hours shifts, or any preferred/agreed-upon combination thereof. Staff may be assigned work out of any one of four station locations in the Brown County area. Duties throughout the course of a shift may vary and are assigned by the duty shift supervisor.

Available Positions

County Rescue offers full-time, part-time and job share positions. 

Paramedic, Advanced EMT,  EMT, and Emergency Medical Responder applications are accepted.
