County Rescue accepts applications from Paramedics, EMT-Intermediate Technicians, EMT-Basics, and First Responders.
Entry level full-time at County Rescue is current Wisconsin paramedic licensure and future critical care certification. Wisconsin licensed EMTs and Intermediate–Techs are employed as paid per call and part-time staff. Applicants are reviewed and interviews are called based on a management committee's consensus. Hiring at County Rescue usually occurs on an annual basis and is based on demand.
County Rescue offers full-time, part-time and job share positions in the areas of:
- Primary 911 Response
- Local and Long Distance Interfacility Transports
- Critical Care Level Transports
- Air Medical Transports
Candidates must possess an excellent driving record, participate in the company substance abuse testing program, and meet the requirements detailed in the company job description for the position of Emergency Medical Technician.
